A Summer of STEM Education On the pathway to a positive future is the gift of a great STEM education, and donations from last year's Run for Hope provided this gift to United Community Corp, Newark GOLCS, Volunteers of America, and Visions and Pathways. Our summer workshop series included coding, robotics, circuity, chemistry and more. Together, we opened a window to wonder, opportunity and hope for over fifty underserved and excited youth!
Making Waves with Arman's Hope Jar Anyone with a spirit of compassion can create a ripple of hope for many. (below left) Through a request made by Carmen Gates, our grant to the African American Chamber of Commerce provided laptops for Trenton families participating in The Village Program, designed to increase financial literacy. job readiness and job placement. Removing financial barriers positions these families for growth, opportunity and a better economic standing.
(top right) During the summer, a request made by Eric David with Techie Youth funded 50 laptop computers for a cohort of NYC foster youth to participate in the Learn to E-Earn program, an online curriculum providing skills to become financially independent and earn income remotely.
