Program Description
The Arman Roy Foundation Text Alerts ("Program") is an SMS messaging program operated by The Arman Roy Foundation ("we," "us," or "our"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from The Arman Roy Foundation, including upcoming event announcements, during-event updates and instructions, volunteer coordination messages, and general organizational news.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from The Arman Roy Foundation by checking the dedicated SMS consent checkbox and providing your mobile phone number on our online donation page or event registration page, both hosted by our CRM provider CharityProud and accessible from https://armanroy.org. The checkbox is unchecked by default, providing your phone number is optional, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any donation, event registration, or participation in any Foundation program.
By checking the SMS consent checkbox, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or 13 or older with verifiable parental consent), that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided, and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive approximately [2–4] messages per month, with additional messages possible during events for live updates and instructions.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. The Arman Roy Foundation does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your plan. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of the Program at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request, after which you will no longer receive text messages from the Program unless you choose to opt back in.

Supported Carriers
The Program is available on major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, and other participating carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy and Data Sharing
We respect your privacy. The mobile information (phone numbers and SMS consent records) collected through this Program will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes. All categories of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy specifically exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates. Disclaimer
The Arman Roy Foundation, its affiliates, and any participating mobile carriers are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including but not limited to messages that are undelivered due to network issues, device incompatibility, or carrier restrictions. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile carrier.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://armanroy.org/terms-and-conditions with an updated effective date. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
