March 2022 Newsletter

Updated: May 31, 2022

Lighting Candles for HOPE! Arman had an extraordinary gift for technology and his dream was to help others less fortunate to enjoy the same wonder and opportunity that he did. In honor of Arman's birthday and beautiful spirit of hope, we are so proud to partner with iD Tech Camps to launch the Arman Roy scholarship and bring STEM programs to students who would otherwise never have the chance. If you know any great candidates ages 13-17, please encourage them to apply here.

Thank you to our amazing volunteer youth squad who organized an incredible Family Fun Day, raising $2800 to create this scholarship opportunity, in celebration of Arman's birthday. Hooray to all the families who had a blast enjoying all the fun activities and yummy treats for a great cause! Check out the photo gallery here!

YOUR Steps Create Scholars!

We were so honored to join the Per Scholas Newark Graduation Ceremony in February and congratulate all the IT Support student learners who are now ready to embark on their new professional journeys! “Our partnership with Per Scholas has been a natural and seamless one because both of our organizations are committed to improving equity through access to technology training and job placement so that all motivated students who work hard to achieve their goals can look forward to a bright future, regardless of where they have come from,” said Minal Mosca, Arman Roy Foundation Board Member, and Arman’s aunt.

Thank you to all our 2021 5K Run for Hope supporters who took steps to create these life-changing opportunities! You can learn more about Per Scholas and our incredible partnership in this March press release!

Calling All Golfers! Registration is now open for our 2nd Annual Hope-In-One Classic. Hope to see you there!

Did you know that in 2018, April was officially designated the National Month of Hope to encourage us to “think hope” and “make hope connections”? At the Arman Roy Foundation, the notion of hope is a bright light that fuels and guides our mission all year long. If you want to become a citizen of hope, please consider becoming a volunteer. No amount of time or talent is too little.

Thank You to All Our 2022 Sponsors
